    Asrock/Ripjaw/Intel ?

    I already have the intel processor listed below' just wanted to make sure these 3 items will work together fine..Thanks

    They will work just fine.

    If you're low on budget, I'd suggest sticking with i5 2500k and moving the difference of 100$ to a better video card. When you make this for playing games, a better video card will bring more benefit than the more powerful processor.
    As you can easily overclock both processors, you can reduce the performance difference between the processors by simply overclocking it a bit - both processors should overclock quite well.

    ps. ah sorry, somehow i skipped over the part where you say you already have the processor.

      Yeah i got it with a barebone kit...Others have talked me from going from the Asus P8Z68-VLE to the ASrock i posted..I first had a mismatched problem with some other memory i had and went through 2 ASus boards' but it wasnt the boards..After changing memory around its been working fine..How much better is the ASrock than the P8Z68-VLE board i have? I have a Radeon Sapphire HD6670 that came with my first kit thats still in the box..
