Why????
Why would you want a 422 keyboard? Its an industrial keyboard....connected to a breakout box by a 6' cable. Then there is another 6' cable that goes from the breakout box to an 8-port asynchronous RS232/422 card on an IBM RS6000.
I've been trying to figure it out and the only thing I can come up with is that the contractor got them cheap and because they aren't something you can go to Walmart and get, they can charge 10 times as much for them.
Looking for a technical answer though.
