    Spot The Cap

    Hi, folks.
My USB ports have stopped powering my mouse. I'm thinking maybe the regulating cap is toast.
Here's a picture of the cap which sits just behind the USB module on the backplane:

I'm pretty sure it's a Nichicon FPCAP, although I could use help with the markings.
    6.3V is obvious, and I think that "561" means 56x10¹ (i.e. 560μF) but I don't know what 781 means.
I've downloaded the FPCAP catalog from Nichicon's website but I can't find a numbering scheme that matches the markings.

    Help a brother out?

Motherboard in question is a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L

    Thats because its a fujitsu.

But, sounds like your issue is something else. Try some other usb ports, it might be the fuse blown for those ports.

Have you tried a different mouse? I had a USB Logitech mouse, died within a week. The replacement did the same.
