MB DELL GX270 replaced by MB GX280

I try replace MB in my home PC.
Oryginally i have DELL GX270 in tower case.
I try install in this case GX280 small factor board .
With hardware montage are'nt any problems , but i find some problems with power supply .
GX280 boards with 3GHz CPU and 1 GB ram don't starts.
This GX280 board work corect with my neighbours, 400W PSU .
LED at the front panel very fast blink without pressing button ( about 10 Hz) in green colors.
Oryginally i have DELL PS model HP-P2507FWP ( 250 W) , i check with another one the same PSU .
This PSU work OK with GX270 , all bad cappacitors inside was replaced 2 years ago .
Really GX280 need PSU with more power?
Can i make some trick with my PSU for solving this problem?

The GX270 and GX280 front panel connector is different. Probably something in there shorted. Try bench testing the board. The PSU shouldn't be a factor (unless its bad), a good one would run either one.

I not agree with you ,Topcat, GX270 and GX280 front panel connector is the same or similar, because with this panel , with 400W PSU, this GX280 board starts.
