    A/V switching circuit

Hey guys, just thought I'd spitball a question.

I'm considering building a "game console shrine" with as many consoles as I can find in a showcase, and having them all playable.

I'm looking to build a circuit that can switch the A/V source to each console, preferablly with a push button at each console. Similar to the speaker selection display at Bestbuy/frys/radio shack.

I saw a crude design at engadget, but I've been reading that the IC's used in its design are not really for that purpose. Also, what about the consoles that use YPbPr or HDMI?

My hifi reciever has some inputs, true, but I'm expecting about 12 consoles at least, and I would love for this to be as idiot proof as possible.

Has anyone messed with a project like this?
