by lazenesThe device is not charging with the 19V 180W DC charger. If the battery is full, the laptop powers on normally. I can charge it via USB Type-C, but it’s very slow. I checked the schematics but couldn’t find a solution. I even replaced the BQ24800 battery charging IC, but the issue remains the same. I suspect a MOSFET or a fuse that I might be overlooking is preventing it from charging with the adapter. Has anyone experienced a similar fault before or has any advice?...

by jamesg1979Hi there, i purchased a faulty pure dab radio from ebay and after some testing i found that this ic i believe is possibly a mosfet? has failed and caused a short on the board. I have typed the numbers in google but cant find any info at all. I am very new to electronics but i am learning. would anybody have any idea what it is and if there is an equivalent component i could try. With the chip off the board i get 5.4v on pin 1, pin 3 is ground as is pin 6, and on pin 8 i have 4.5v. i know this is quite vauge but im hoping someone could help. Thanks...

Hi,
Found an Funai 32FL553P/10 TV on sale for cheap listed as broken, so I decided to give a shot at reparing this.
State I got it in:
Squealing from the PSU
After logo I get a blank screen
After 10 seconds of having a blank display w/ backlight the TV dies
Give it 7-10ish seconds again and it starts to bootloop.
What I did so far:
Replaced all the caps on the PSU (apart from primaries, they were fine and none at hand)
Checked all voltage rails:
5VSB - 4.8V
AMP+13V - 14.4V
13V - 12.98V (in manual 12V)... -
