Ok so let me run you through the chain of events, the controller stop coming on no video, after checking the board they were lots of shorts on the board. I removed the screen a couple disappeared, then I removed the cpu and more disappeared, lastly I removed the memory chip and all shorts were gone. (The 2 chips circled in red are the memory and cpu) Also there is an issue with the 5v test point that is circled it’s reading 12v and so is a 3.3v regulator next the power jack.

Ordered a new CPU and Memory chip and installed them, reconnected the screen and all shorts are gone. Reconnected...

I received this tv stuck in a boot loop and was able to get it working after letting it sit and reboot several times. Whenever I try do things in the settings it will crash back to the main screen, lock up, or reboot itself. I tried doing a Reset on it and after it rebooted nothing was changed. The Google account used was still present, and the downloaded apps were all still there. I can sometimes get further into settings such as setting up my wifi, not most times it will crash and reboot. I even manually removed the Google account and it CAME BACK after rebooting the tv. Before it rebooted one...

Hi, can someone help me please with the removal of the bios password of this dump.
Someone desoldered the bios chip, tried several "methods" but with no luck, and he gave me the dump to try to search some help.
For now he deleted more things and bios password is gone but laptop doesn't show serial, model etc.

Also, I updated bios to latest version, when he will write the dump again without password, it should be better to put back the old version that was orignally or doesn't matter? Because from what I've read this laptop has 3 bios chips, don't know if has...

I wanted to save this thing from E-waste ... I helped a neighbour with their Dell PC , it had a blown visably blown VRM causing a short on the 12V EPS ..

I replaced this VRM which fixed the short but, the high side VRM's keep blowing , seemingly the same two phases .. I replaced the low side mosfets on the respective blown phases . Though still the High side VRMS are blowing ..

After a few minutes one of the four phases will get extremely hot , then blow ..

After removing the password I get an error "There is a problem with hp endpoint security controller on the unit". I read that I need a modified BIOS. There are 3 ISP on my board.

Finally got my KD-50X690E up and running after replacing the power supply. Upon testing it I noticed the lack of sound from the speakers. At first I just ignored it thinking it was set to external speakers or some other kind of audio setting. However, after actually going into settings and looking around I see nothing of this sort. I looked it up on Google and apparently a lot of people have disappearing audio on a variety of Sony TVs 🙄. I'm going to see if a firmware or software update will resolve it, if available.

Has anyone else had this happen to their tv?

I have 3 DELL Latitude 7430 with faulty MBs and 2 DELL Latitude 7400 with broken screens.
Both have 14'' touchscreen with 30 pin eDP
I try to connect the 7430 screen to 7400 and getting picture OK. Yuppie!
So far so good...
Reboot in BIOS settings to check battery, processor type , etc. everything is OK even the touch is working.
At this point I know everything is fine with pin assignment.
I installed a Windows 10 Pro x64 and as a big surprise the touchscreen is not working!
There is no mention about touchscreen in Device Manager… no device with yellow...

this is a board of mine that's I've been trying to repair from time to time..

liquid damaged on right I/O.. after taking the I/O out and measure diodes and shorts on board I found everything OK except for SPKRAMP_INT_L readings were too high.. and sadly its associated with the T2 chip..

Days pass by and I'm now good with T2 chip.. so I've taken it out and put another one.. SPKRAMP_INT_L is reading OK now but no audio.. :| with known-good right I/O and known-good right I/O cable..

I've taken diode measurements.. and I've measured resistors for bad or blown...

Picked this one up today.
In addition to falling LED diffusers there is a single line here that maybe a deal breaker.

Samsung QLED QN50Q — purchased 2022 started experiencing a delay in the picture coming on in the morning less than 2 years later. Did not know the term boot loop at that time. As the loop delay ran into a few minutes did all the recommended troubleshooting, soft and hard reset, changing cables and outlet locations, no help. As the delay increased contacted Samsung tech group and allow them remote access the tv. Tech was moving too fast to see exactly what he was doing but this ultimately it was also no help. Got a MacBook Pro 15" A1990 with a board issue, The board turns on, I did a DFU revive to see if it needed a firmware patch, that was successful, however the board just keeps boot looping and turning off and on very quickly. Obviously the DATA Is there, but it wont even launch into recovery, it will just die and turn back on with Apple logo, once it gets really hot it dies, if the laptop sits for the day and is cool, it will turn on then get hot within 1 min then die and turn itself on and repeat.
