    HP14 - DA0G7GMB8F0 REV.F
    by Darren Hibbert
    Hi.

I bought a HP 14-1629na laptop that had a fault. I'm learning how to fix boards and know the basics but can someone help me out?

    Power supply is fine (19v)
Pressing the power button, the power lights for about 2 seconds then goes off and it keeps doing it in a loop until I unplug it.

I opened laptop and can't find any damage. Put my multimeter in buzzer mode and touched a group of 3 inductors and they all buzzed. Checked inductors over the rest of the board and no buzz. Does this mean I have a short circuit?

I used my bench power supply...

    Epson EB-U42 projector / Caps with 0.7 ohms ?!
    by narf
    hi all,

first of all: i'm a (motivated) newbie, so please forgive me any stupid question i may or may not ask

i'm currently repairing a projector: Epson EB-U42 that doesn't start (no lights, nothing).

    what i've found so far:
    - the PSU does its job and supplies 12V to the mainboard via the connector.
    - shortly thereafter, there is a mosfet (TS420-600B) where i can test 12V on the one side (in the data sheet this side is called Anode), Gate 0V, Kathode shorted to ground
    - not far away, there's the first cap with a resistance of 0.7 ohms....

UNI-T UPO 2000CS series, UPO 2074 CS - need firmware
    by Joho
    Hi there

I recently got a UNI-TREND oscilloscope UPO2074CS with an interrupted firmware update. It starts up with message in picture 1. When I put in a blank USB stick in, it searches for Firmware (USB stick blinks) and then gives up. (picture 2)
I can't ask the former owner, he is deceased.

I already looked on UNI-T website, could not find anything related to the UPO2000CS series. And I already emailed to tech support, no answer.

If anyone has the firmware for UPO2074CS and perhaps the software for PC, would be appreciated!...

    Lenovo S145-15IL won,t charge
    by Zippo978
    Hi everyone,
    I have a Lenovo motherboard Lenovo S145-15IL, NM-C711.
Initially it wouldn't turn on, I replaced the PQ100 and PQ101 mosfets and the BIOS chip and it works perfectly except charging the battery which says it's connected and charging but the percentage doesn't go up. In pins 1 and 2 of the JBATT5201 I find 7.8V, and at the input of the PQ102 and 103 mosfets I have 19V.

I don't understand why the battery doesn't charge, thanks in advance for your help.

P:S: Thinking it was the battery I replaced it with a new one and updated the BIOS and Firmware....

4 red flash led 65X950G boot Sony and android logo but then black

    HI guys

I got here a Sony 65X950G - I tried to find any repairs guides for this model but not many online

    here is the issue
I have Sony and android logo. but then 4 led red flash lights front of the tv

I have 3.3v ref. 12v reg then T con 12v when I press the power on button
but then I get black screen and 4 red flash light at the front LED
but I get 3 led flash on the LED driver board.

I check that few X900F or C YouTube repairs, seems that if you have 4 led red flash it could be due of LED black light error
    so I tried...

Samsung's AU series "high quality" panel internally melting
    by Biruslapio
I got this 55 inch AU7X00 TV, it was rebooting and showed no image only a blink of the backlights.

I assumed it was either panel or motherboard. Turns out it was the panel, and after applying some tape on the ribbon cable that goes to the left side of the screen, the TV turned on with image, then I suddenly noticed a dark spot and the pixels were turning black on the left edge, I was sad and thought I smashed the screen somewhere, found nothing visually, it looked in perfect condition and if it was there before it would've been noticeable while I was inspecting the TV the first time....

Not heat related, everything is ok regarding to that.
