by CapLeakerI’ve got this Ancel BA-101 battery tester for a few years now and discovered an issue testing flooded car batteries. The damn thing reads always low compared to other battery testers. I mean low in the tune of 25 to 30%! AGM’s read comparable within margin of error. I wonder if all these have the same problem or mine is defective somehow?10-20-2024, 09:38 AM

by Ritchie_UkHi there
I was wondering if anybody would point me in the right direction to source this connector and flexi cable please?
Is it an FPC, is that the name I search for?
I am wanting to order the connector that was ripped off the board, hence why in for repair, and the flexi cable.
It seems its a 30 way, with the flap that closes down.
I am not sure the pitch of the connector, because I dont have a Manual/Parts manual.
Thanks again...10-18-2024, 08:30 PM -
by notallbadThis is a 2012 LG TV so aware full functionality of the smart functions/apps will be limited however currently unable to get the LG Smart Store.
Youtube, Netflix and LG Smart store icons briefly appear in the apps list but then automatically disappear after doing 'Initialisation of Premium' via the standard menu, I'm guessing this is due to the Country/Area group its set to is wrong for the UK.
Unable to change the country group, Area option can be changed which alters the country group but none make any difference. So believe its the country group that needs changing....10-20-2024, 11:16 AM -
by CapSnap123I have an old "Adjust-a-Volt" variac. Shortly after I bought it, it started smoking and now the windings look burned for about 2 inches around the left side. Is it possible to fix this or bypass the shorted windings? I'm not sure how to detect where the bad windings are, except by appearance.Today, 04:43 PM

by howardc64Failure Symptom
No Display. Just random blocks of grouped vertical red lines.
Disconnect right 1/2 panel (rear view), left 1/2 displays properly
Masking T-Con Signal Diagnostic
Reduced masking to 5 signals on right 1/2 panel and get perfect picture
Pins are
1 GND
2 VGHD
3 XON
4 VSSQ
5 LC2
6 LC1
VGHD and LC1 masking is absolutely necessary to get working panel. Didn't unmask 3-5 individually.

Hi everyone.
I have here a Lenovo laptop, model Ideapad Gaming. It works, but dedicated Nvidia GTX 1650 is not detected. Also, the computer turns on with fan on full speed and I receive errors when trying to install Windows.
On troubleshooting, the conclusion was the GPU was gone.
Is there any way I can completely disable the dedicated GPU and use only the Intel one? Maybe on doing that the other issues will go away, too. Fingers crossed.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanx....Yesterday, 03:44 PM -
by foxyUKCan anyone help me diagnose this? Almost not worth bothering with, but it has 'sentimental value' for the owner. I'm no TV technician, but dabble a bit.
The TV has standby power but no reaction at all to switching on or reboot steps, No flashing lights or response to menu button. All voltages on the power board are correct apart from missing voltage on pin 12 of CN7003.
There is 13 v on U7053 but no 3v signal to switch it on. I don't really understand whether the 3v should come from U7401 in the standby control area, or (as suggested elsewhere) from the mainboard via pin 12....Today, 10:27 AM -
by Schluchti45I have a MacBook Pro A2338 M2. The MacBook runs with the power supply unit. The fan runs permanently and the battery shows the message “Service recommended”.
I have already replaced the battery with a new one, but this has not helped. I have also tried DFU and the system restored the error remains the same.
Do any of you have any ideas where I could look or how I should proceed here?...Today, 11:42 AM
