by jesteraceHi I wonder if anyone might be able to steer me in the right direction. I have this Samsung UE46ES8000 TV and it went bang during use. The main fuse on the PSU board is open. I've checked every diode/mosfet/transistor I can see and nothing appears to be short to cause the fuse to go. The DC output of the bridge rectifier is not short either. I've seen online that some of these models are known for having their PFC mosfet or other mosfets shorting and blowing the fuse but i'm not seeing that here. If anyone aware of these models having any issues to cause this? I'm reluctant to just replace the...Today, 03:14 PM

by PITERPENYHello everyone. The camera does not work. Replacing the displays did not help. The problem is on the board. The camera is not detected in the devices. I also changed the display cable. The MacBook works completely, except for the camera. Tell me what could be wrong?09-08-2024, 09:45 AM

How to find MAC ADDRESS, UUID and MB/SN from previous dump of this mobo's bios?
I am guessing I need to add those in the new bin file.
also where can I find those on the physical motherboard(no box)

by SparklingxEveryone is buying the wrong CH341A programmer, I have learned from my mistake. Don't buy the Black one or Green one.
Buy this one in the photo. Most stable and all your common problems (reading but not writing/erasing, software hanging, disconnects after attaching chip, test cable connected but chip not found/ device disconnected) will be gone.
Otherwise you'll have to solder capacitor from GND to VCC if you have those symptoms in your black or green miniprogrammer....Today, 02:03 PM -

by reformattFull part number on board is ODIN N ADL DDR4 UMA MB 213264-1. Can't seem to locate this even on paid sites as it's still very new model. There is however an earlier version of the board (203128-1)which looks pretty much the same from what I can see elsewhere but all are behind paywalls.
Technically still under warranty. Customer was told by tech support to disconnect the battery, and for some reason destroyed the connector on the battery itself. He sent it to Dell, saw the damage, and they refused to look at it and sent it back to him. So here we are.

by Akhlz001Hi guys,
So I unlocked the bios for this laptop but it seems that the model name and asset tag have been wiped, showing "OEMED Product" on model and "123123123" on serial number. Can someone change this back, I copied the original bios dump and hex edited the product name but it didn't change in the setup, instead shows red unlock sign. Original BIOS dump attached.

by DodgethisHello all,
This is my first post, but long term lurker on the form learning as much as possible about these TV's. I was given this TV as due to a power outage of constant On/off of power to TV. The TV originally would just click on and off (Typical Reboot Cycle). I opened the back of the TV, and troubleshooted by taking the 96 pin LVDS off one at a time to see if I had a picture on either side. I finally fixed the reboot cycle by finding the error on the left side of the screen off connector CN 1301, and the TV would stay on. Further troubleshooting led me to the driver boards where...5 PhotosToday, 07:39 AM -
