With some trial and error I was able to reliably patch BIOS dumps for SVP-locked Lenovo machines up to the 8th generation using the info, tools, and files provided on this forum. After some practice and positive feedback from users I helped I've noticed that, once learned, the process is fairly straightforward, so I've developed a small python script to automate it and allow everyone to patch... -
Please, someone who can help me with a PROBOOK 450 G1. When I connect the charger or power supply, the power jack LED starts blinking. The board has the main voltages: 19V, 3V, 5V, and 3V, and the power button.
The board turns on.

What OS are you running these days? I am down to 3 Windows workstations and one Windows Server on my LAN, everything that doesn't have a windows-specific need has been moved to Linux. Printing abilities with my large document centers are Linux's kryptonite; the reason for 2 of the Windows machines. The third machine still has Win7 on it, and isn't connected to the outside world. It has tons of software on it I use for diagnostics and updating various hardwares.
