Toshiba L50-B-1Q0 (Main DABLIDMB8E0 REV:E) no power on
    by robgerr
Good morning forum. This laptop comes into my laboratory with the defect that it won't turn on. By connecting the bench power supply I have an absorption of 1.56A (battery charging), I disconnect the battery, I have an absorption of 0.01A. I give the power on but it doesn't react. I check the mainboard and I notice the Isl88732 charger with oxide and a little burnt between pins 7-8. I remove the charger, clean the pads and solder another ISL coming from another identical board. I also find a bit of oxide in the power button connector. I clean the connector, clean the flat that goes to the power...

    Macbook pro A2289 820-01987-A
    by kartal
Hello. I have one A2289 (820-01987-A) device. The Apple logo appears and the device resets. I connected it to an external display and disabled the socket of its own display. When I press the ALT key, the disc symbol appears, it does not reset or shut down, but the system does not start up in any way, when I make a selection, the password screen does not appear on the black screen. When I connect the system disc from the external display to the external display, when I make a selection to set up the system, it stays on the black screen after a while. the device turns off. There was a trace on the...

    6. Start the computer and i will try to enter in the setup bios menu. At this moment i have loading bar "repair..."

ASUS ROG G513IE BIOS needed - board model G513-6050A3249301-MB-A03(A3)
    by themosttogain
    Hi,

If anyone can help with a BIOS for this laptop it would be greatly appreciated (I even promise a forum donation!) - basically after battery removal, I powered on and got a brief flash of a message about making a recovery BIOS USB (which I have tried multiple times, to no avail) but then just a black screen. Since attempting a BIOS recovery, I don't even now get that brief message, so whether it did actually start trying to update or not I'm not sure, but nothing appeared on screen at any point.

I've now removed the chip from the board and taken a dump file from it...

    HP Z2 MINI G5 - 6050A3153001-MB-A02(A2) BIOS
    by reeluff
No Boot, No Post, 3 red 4 white. No measured shorts or visible issues on board. Under power on and thermal camera, everything on the board seems to be turning on fine (cpu/ram/gpu etc), power cycles once then during second power cycle device cuts off with the power light error code. Known good cpu and ram.

I have attached the main 32mb bios, and 16mb rom dump. I suspect, either a rom or EC or PCH issue - the PCH under thermal does seem to be quite active, but might just be confused by something coming from the EC. (Not sure if it has something to do with top swap strap (TS), sampled...
