Not getting any video with the 5070. debug light gets stuck at VGA. The fans spin and the card gets hot and after messing with some bios setting still cant get it to display. Also tried to force the bios to display through integrated graphics (R5 8500G) and still get stuck in VGA Debug light when the GPU is plugged into the motherboard. Any ideas what causes this.

I have a faulty xps laptop that i managed to recover form a landfill

The laptop does not turn on normally on a charger nor it doesn’t charge the battery.
I checked the motherboard for shorts and could not find anything everything seems fine.
PCH and CPU are not shorted

At 20v the laptop takes around 0.08A when i press the power button the power jumps to 20v 0.200a which shows the laptop tries to boot and then back down to 0.08a
The fans dont kick in or anything its just current draw and then back down to 0.08a

My (2014?) Envy 15t-j100 CTO Notebook system has stopped performing the "sleep" function properly. (Using Windows 10) The first sleep action after a boot the system is fine and the PC sleeps. I have a Dell laptop that has no power, after some work with a thermal camera I found the cap at PU1400 (circled in white) north of the FAN header was cracked. So removed that and checked the shorts again. Most were gone, but I am see a short on the board side of PL4 Cap next to the DC-In jack.

I have a ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 motherboard (NM-D451) that needs an EC replacement. The repair and soldering will be done by a service shop., i'm just helping source the EC chip because the exact one isn't available locally.

hello, I encountered an issue with the mac mini a1347 mid 2011 with the motherboard model being 631-1740. I tried to upgrade its dual hdd setup with ssds and upgrade the ram to 16gb. I also took apart the whole thing to replace the thermal paste. after putting everything together, it refuses to power on. I have no idea what the issue is and no idea where to start. I did check the voltage at the motherboard connector and I do get 12 volts. what else should I check?

I successfully booted into the Golden Key U1 Tool (v3.5.78), and it launches ThinkPad Maintenance Utilities v1.20(x64) — but my version appears to be missing the full Set System Identification menu (it only shows Add/Read/Delete S/N options).

Just got a computer with this board and ALL of the Lelon RXA caps have failed. Having trouble finding datasheets to match against potential replacements. The caps in question are 7x 1500uf 6.3V 10x20 and 11x 1000uf 6.3V 8x12. Open to replacing with polymers as long as it works.
