once again i turn to you for salvation:

2017 dell latitude 5480 i5

unit had unknown bios pw, and boot from USB protected

i dumped the BIOS with my flashcat and verified the dump against the chip, ok
i prepared a clean ME bios
write of new bios failed, unable to write to chip. erase seems to be functioning?
i opened original dump of bios (which verified against chip) and it's mostly zeroes?? like 99% zeroes, one little header and one little block of data halfway through.

flashcat can only...

I have Dell Latitude 5480
i have the orginal bios
but there is 2 file 1MB
on board 2 ic flash W25Q80V
in my lap top it is empty because of me
pleas i need this 3 file
16MB U5c
1MB UT6
1MB UT2

core i5 7th
nvidia
CDP 70 LA - E142P REV 2.0
sevice tag : JZ193H2

i upload the orginal 16MB and extrcted file from Dell bios update...

Write it with Programmer...after that Press F2
Write Service tag FROM Back cover save and apply.

hi i need dupm for bios my laptop olny tries to recover bios from file and when it does it reboots and still trying to recover

Problem : slow booting in windows and bios setup also still same problem, I'll acttached my dump file...

Battery disconnected.

1. Charger connected
- 19V on both, red cables and ID pin
2. Charger disconnected
- red cable and ID pin NOT shorted - OL
3. Removed those cable, DC socket
- wired NOT shorted
4. Checked charger directly
- 19V, ID pin - 0.04V
5. Connected charger to this cable, but NOT
connected to the board
- all fine
6. Put back in a place
- ID pin show 19V

Any idea ? How to proceed, what to check next ?
