i just swapped the it5571e sio kbc old one was shorted, now it boots from battery, but does not charge or recognize it, and Fn keys no work, i think sio has wrong firmware, laptop has P17CFD, I downloaded P19CFD but cannot install or extract as it does not detect the battery, says 155% charged

does anyone have bios or can extract bios from exe, i tried uniextract and innoextractor but do not work

I am repairing a Samsung Galaxy Book Pro NP950XDB (Venus‑15 TGL NPC, board BA92‑225D9A).
Two 0402 components on the PMIC (MPSM43 M2940A, code666508) at pin 20 (EN) were completely burned and unreadable.
I replaced them with generic reference values (100 kΩ + 100 nF), but the laptop now shows:

- Battery charges normally (LED red ->green)
- Keyboard backlight turns on briefly
- Power LED blinks 5 times blue
- System resets in a loop

This looks like a timing issue on the EN pin.

This board mounts a intel alder lake, and seems that the bios is corrupted.

I tried two versions of flash image tool 16, and shows some errors and can't open it.

I am locked out of the BIOS on a Samsung Galaxy Book Go 5G and need help generating a master password.

Laptop Model: NP545XLA-KA2VZ
Motherboard Model: NP545XLA

When I trigger the lockout, it displays the following 44-character "System Disabled" hash code:
[4C6FF5D728477774C4241218CC9DED22B286CD0A2185]

I have also attached a photo of the lockout screen.

Any help calculating the unlock key would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Model number is SM-W767. This unit is dead. Posting this here as a footnote for future ref.

Charging is via USB-C. Supplied adaptor says its either 5V or 11V via PD. When connected, it draws 5V @0.52A. This doesn't change regardless of whether the battery is connected or not. There are two USB C ports, both exhibit the same regardless of plug orientation. Thermal camera shows something getting hot in the middle of the board (appears to be on keyboard facing side), which I suspect is the PMIC. No fan, all cooling done with a large copper heatsink.

Might just be a shorted...

After 3 wrong attempts, it enters the "System Disabled" screen showing a QR code. I scanned the QR code and it generated the following Base64 challenge string:

I'm making preparations to dump my first BIOS in a Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro, the BIOS chip is a Winbond 25R256JVEQ. Having just downloaded and unzipped the NeoProgrammer V2.2.0.10.zip file this particular device isn't listed so I want to update the import.xml file. Using the above guide, I have set the following : page ="256" and size="33554432". What is unclear to me is the id for this device. I can see it will have the prefix "EF" but what are the following 2 bytes? Based on what I can seen in the flashchips.h file linked above, I would guess they are 0x4019...

I have a Samsung Galaxy Book 4 360 - NP960QGK - KG2UK (Motherboard BA4-03035A) that has 20v going in, regonises the power button - no caps light. I get a flashing blue light when turned on. I've tried BIOS reset and i get a solid blue light but still no display, also no display via HDMI.

I have a rip of the BIOS but i can't find a known good version to compare it too.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

New here. Can I request the BIOS for the following...Samsung Galaxy Book Flex NP950QCG. And also there was 2 chips on the motherboard that resembles the BIOS chip. I included pics in the post. I can't tell which one is it but my hunch is its the WINBOND but at the same time I hope its not because its hard to get to with the CH341A Programmer I bought. If so then I think I would have to modify the clip to get access to those pins.

I’m working on a Samsung Galaxy Book Flex NP950QCG-K01US with motherboard BA92-20562A (i7-1065G7). The laptop has no POST or display, no Caps Lock response, but the fan spins and the power LED works. Power behavior is: idle around 135mA, pressing power jumps to ~225mA and stays stable, and after flashing one BIOS I briefly saw ~335mA before it returned to 225mA. I have confirmed 19V input (~17.4V at VRM), and 3.3V, 5V, and 1.8V rails are present. CPU VCORE is 0V, CPU coil resistance is about 46Ω (no short), VRM uses MPM8694 modules and has VIN and 3.3V enable present, but no PWM so...

I just thought that would be more safe to have a BIOS password in my Samsung Galaxy Book 3 360 NP750QFG-KS2BR in case it is stolen.
I sware that I saved the password in my PasswordSafe app to organize passwords but I didn't and now I can't access the bios. The notebook works normal but I want to do a clean install of windows, that Samsung's version is messy and with a lot of bugs that are stressing.
Is there any people who can access the Samsung's generator program ou could give me some hope? They are charging me and asking me to drive over 300 hundred kilometers...

Initially I ordered the first compatible battery I could find on Amazon, and I purchased one with model AA-PBSN4AF. When I installed it, the battery wouldn't charge, and later I found out on this website that this particular model was not compatible.

hi, I'm looking for the schematic of this laptop.
On this laptop went just a bit of liquid from back when was on and an IC burnt.
Now laptop doesnt' power on and if power adapter usb-type C is connected switch correctly to 20V but just 0,032A even if battery is connected.
On battery there are 15V.
IC is a 20 pin (5 for each side) and around it all seems to be fine.
Its located on top board back the HDMI port and near 2 big 1,5 ohm resistors.
