I have a problem with my DELL OPTIPLEX 3080 MICRO. It has a BIOS admin password and i cant install OS because of this issue. I have the original bios bin. Hope you guys can help me.

Our service bay had what appears to be a stereo amplifier that went on the fritz and fried two Dell Optiplex 3080's that were plugged into the same UPS. I never seen such a situation.

Anyways the computers do not power on. A replacement power supply didnt resolve the issue when this occurred a few years ago. I want to try to revive one now.

May I ask how you modified my bios dump?
Did you modify the bios dump manually with a hex editor or did you also use special tools such as an 8FC8 patcher or similar?
I'm asking because I initially thought I could use the 8FC8 patcher, but then read that it can't be used to remove Absolute/Computrace....
