I'm having problems with my Lenovo thinkpad T460s laptop.
It will automatically restart when shutdown.(uses battery)/
Using the adapter + battery is ok. But when the adapter disconnected it will automatically restart.
I tried reinstalling the operating system and testing in the PE environment but nothing changed.
I think the problem is in BIOS SETUP.
Can someone help me?​

Hi everyone, i've got the thinkpad t460s. But there is small issue, it's impossible to install more ram, but sometimes when i put some samsung ram it runs, but after 40-50 seconds the whole system freeze, if any one had any idea i will be greatful!

Would someone please be able to look at this BIOS? The machine works fine but takes 15 seconds to POST and the MEI Version is blank in BIOS. Intel ME will not install. I had used lenovo auto-patcher to remove supervisor password. That worked and I have since updated the BIOS to the latest version. Thanks in advance....

good day everyone, i bought some laptops from auction AS IS and a few of them is locked to supervisory password which is preventing me from reloading new windows. i just bought EZP2023+ to write the BIos chip. i have remove he chip from the laptops, i was able to read and save the chip. i am stuck on where to download the new bin file to write on the chip.i dont know where to download the new bin file to write the chip. somebody help me please....

Hi guys, i reached this specific thread because i am struggling with a t460s that came untouched, but dead. Blinks 3 times, as if powered but no start at all. tried a dump from site, all started but, of course, delayed image and unaccepted WWAN device... made a Clear ME for it but now, the awesome error... "storage detection error on m2".... what should i do? i attach my original dump if anyone can help me on this, i would appreciate!...

This is the list I use, seems like it contains most of the models compatible with the DXE driver patch solution, if it's not in the list, most likely the DXE driver patch won't work, specially if BIOS is 32MB:

any Idea what the problem can be?
Lenovo ThinkPad T460 when i plug the AC Adapter, the board is only for few seconds on, after that is dead, no 3 + 5V presents.
First + second mosfets have 20v, Systemrail 20v too.
had someone such problem? i have this problem with few Lenovo Boards, T460, T460s, X260...

Hello I tried to use Lenovo auto patcher Maxpower3 I did not manage to extract at first the file through the cmd console but directly with autopatch.py in the patch folder it worked and generate a file T460s_PATCHED That I injected into the eeprom MX25L12873F (it's Lenovo T460s 20FA-S3VP06) but it did not work the screen remains black the computer turns on or stays on but there is nothing on the screen. I don't know if you can do anything but I attach the Bin file with the supervisor password

Good afternoon. There is Lenovo ThinkPad T460s, NM-A421 rev 3.0 platform with i5-6300U processor. The problem is that the processor runs at a minimum frequency of 0.39 Ghz. Who knows what could be the problem? Faced this on DELL laptops when connecting the wrong charger. Haven't seen this on Lenovo. What is responsible for the CPU clock rate on a ThinkPad?
