Hi,

Dell Inspiron 15 3520 with MB HDL50 LA-L946P that powers on with the ac adapter however does not power on with the battery. The battery is brand new and passes all dell diagnostic test. If the ac adapter is unplugged the unit will power off but displays 100% charge. The unit will not power using the battery. The battery does charge without issues. 😕 any help?

one time charger led flashed then no answer 1.3W consuming. Rails measure was ok 5VALW, 3VALW coming but
SLP_S5# - 0V, ALL_SYS_PWRGD - 0V. I think EC refusing boot chatgpt suggested CLRME but pin not working.

ST: DDT11Z3 service tag on dell page coming Vostro 3520. But In bios seeing as Inspiron 15 3520.
After firmware update i think it is can't do S5 State. Because shutdown after it is can not Power on and no sense about charger, completely freezing. Only powering on after battery drain or remove battery and replug after Powering on....

That only turning on when do CMOS reset after shut down.
BIOS log was EC primary table hash mismatch
This is backup file before BIOS flash. I bought named as LA-L946P factory bios then this BIOS really fixed few motherboards. But this time this motherboard completely dead. Even flashing back self BIOS not helping. Only 1W consuming no other sign to Boot....

I bought a used Dell Inspiron 15 3520 laptop and the battery isn't charging. When I go to the BIOS setting it shows that the battery health is "excellent" but on the AC Adapter shows "not installed". I checked the pins from the power connector on the motherboard and I didn't found a short on the PS_ID pin. It dould be the charger (I don't know if this is the original) or what I have to check?...
