Re: Need help with resistor value please
budm, do you know if a power supply board for a M75-C1 will work in this M65-C1? I know the power connector is different but I could swap the power connectors if everything else is the same. They look the same visually.

Re: VIZIO M50-C1, powers on, no backlight, no picture
https://techhometravel.com/vizio-m43...-no-backlight/
Vizio M series have BGA failures. Lots of threads if you search M43-C1 or M65-C1. Symptom is ON/OFF (backlight on signal) pin not going high (>2.5V).Last edited by neilc6; 08-09-2020, 01:28 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: Need help with resistor value please
Hey budm, I am working on a Vizio M65-C1 and when I got it it had no power. I watch a Youtube video of someone that has the same problem with the same model TV. I replaced a resistor and diode that he showed on the power supply. When I powered up the TV it came on for a second and blew the same resistor again. It's a SMD resistor mounted on the bottom of the board. So I got to checking components in the area of the SMD resistor and found that the resistor, like the one pictured, has no resistance whatsoever. So I am thinking it is bad. I...Leave a comment:

Re: Vizio M43-C1 No Backlights
High demand and low supply since looks it like all these boards are destined to fail even if you can find a new unused one. Does look like Nicks TVs offers reballing service for this board now.
I picked up a M65-C1 and it's going to cost the same for a new board or to get the existing one reballed. Reballing will probably last longer than a new board. Same symptoms. 12V is 19V present and stable. There is a youtube video for this model for a power supply fix if the 19V isn't stable. PS_On goes high at 3.2V but ON/OFF doesn't.Last edited by neilc6; 07-16-2020, 09:17 AM.Leave a comment:

Re: Vizio M50-C1/M65-C1 Service menu
Should prolly stick that service code procedure up in Randtek's factory reset sticky.Last edited by nomoresonys; 05-06-2020, 02:48 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: Vizio M50-C1/M65-C1 Service menu
I thought that "no service code" was BS from vizio, looks like the one guy was close then the second had no clue so he said there isn't one, too funny.Last edited by nomoresonys; 05-06-2020, 02:26 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: Vizio M50-C1/M65-C1 Service menu
Damn, worked, so one dude from Vizio support gave correct one but forgot about return after 1999, unfortunately that menu cannot change model number, so I assume they flashed it to emmc and it's specific per modelLeave a comment:

Vizio M65-C1 15 blinks no picture/sound
Hey folks, please help to fix, got this TV broken, does not start, on first try just blink once on second blinking 15 times, no picture or sound, I tried to take off all eeproms, looks ok, without main eeprom gives 18 blinks.
Looks like power board, since there is no 24v: checked all diodes on front side, looks ok.
