I was looking for ways to disable memory channels in BIOS for a GTX 980 (found nothing) - however I did find a load for RTX3000 series cards - file name describes which memory channel is disabled and for which card - maybe of use to someone with a card that has a bad memory controller (and ram chip is good) to get the card running again with slightly less RAM.

They look to be from Gigabyte cards originally....

To disable onboard RAM, you must set all states to high (1111)....

I've got a Lenovo Ideapad 14IIL05 laptop with damaged onboard memory. Is there any possibility to turn off onboard memory by flashing BIOS? Or is there any other way to disable onboard RAM? Any help appreciated

I just got a ThinkPad T14 G1 with a faulty onboard ram. Have you got any idea on how to disable it permanently?
Motherboard number is NM-C801, I've got the boardview+schematics (attached below), but I don't know which resistors should I move/remove, since there are no "reserved" states for the onboard ram on this motherboard....

nm-e531 i tried all kinds of bios editing and it doesn't work. it doesn't have schematic but it has boardview with board ID details in it.
maybe you could help me how to shift these resistors to disable its onboard ram.
