toshiba 40L2400EE firmware needed..
Greetings.. my led tv has backlight working but upon turning it on.. no toshiba logo appears and generally no image whatsoever appears..pressing channel up buttons shows a slight flicker on screen..theres 12v present on panel board.. many thread advises firmware reflash but i didnt see this model on the toshiba sites.. please help me..thanks.. -

Guys, unfortunately this unit stopped working and i tried to fix it.
I followed some threads here about philips/magnavox and sylvania.
And there is now oscillation on the psu circuit but the expected
secondary readings was 8.7v and 12.5v respectively while it should be 13v and 21v..
The test was done on this board isolated with the other attachment.
encircled on the attachment was found defective and replaced..

Hello.. im planning to convert my MAGNAVOX 40ME313V/F7 psu which is rated at 120v.. to 220 volts.. I used to do it by replacing main capacitor.. but only on small appliance. I divided the UF by 2 and multiply the Voltage by 2.. it is in reference with its original main capacitor for 120 v use. Im a little bit hesitant because i have'nt tried that on big appliance. hello.. i would like to ask what is the right actual power_on voltage to expect on this model.. because i read it at 2v0.. i am very confused.. Another thing i noticed was when i get closer to its psu, there was a not so loud ballast-like-sound.. seems it operates at low frequency.. there is a built-in tact switch on mainboard.. is it safe to push while the tv is on?Leave a comment:

its 12v on top of L1006 up to s1 of q1003..when i turn on the tv the drain side voltage drops to 7v2.. but when lvds ribbon detached it resumes to 12vLeave a comment:

Hello fellow tech'n.. i have checked all printed voltages on power board and its ok except the power_on voltage that reads 2.0 when turned tv on. The 12v supply to panel drops to 7.2v but when lvds ribbon detached it resumes to 12v. beforehand...I saw some image retention and color bars in horizontal order on and off. The tv turns on fine but no image no osd just a clear screen with backlight on..Last edited by kumag; 08-19-2015, 08:57 PM. -

Hello everybody.. i managed to replace the RM101 chip with AS15-G and no luck.. no changes on its symptoms of white screen and pale inverted colors on pictures.. do i have to leave the tcon board and proceed to lcd panel? any idea sir? ....Leave a comment:

yes. i did the j1 and r14 modification.. the kia78r12pi works well up to now..and im planning to replace it with 278r12 when it becomes available in stores here in manila.Leave a comment:
