Re: Panasonic TC-P50GT25 Power Indicator blinks 4 then 10 times
How do I make sure I'm ordering the correct SC board? Looking at my SC board, where the AW/AY should be, there's nothing there. So it just has TNPA5081 then a blank yellow rectangle, so I'm not sure how to know which one to order.Last edited by shibumi; 12-29-2013, 07:16 PM.

Re: Panasonic TC-P50GT25 Power Indicator blinks 4 then 10 times
I'm going to borrow a friend's multimeter and troubleshoot sometime next week. My friend told me that you could easily tell if a capacitor was blown by looking to see if it expanded. There's one capacitor on the p board that definitely is blown i'd say. I'm really just hoping that it's the p board because those are plentiful and a little cheaper. If it was just the p board, I will definitely order one and put it in. If it's the sc, and the sd/su boards I'll probably sell it for parts and get one of the newer panasonic...

Re: Panasonic TC-P50GT25 Power Indicator blinks 4 then 10 times
I opened the TV up and took a look at the components on the boards. All of the components on the SC board appeared fine. I could only find a capacitor on the PSU board that looked blown. Is it possible that the problem is actually with the PSU?

Panasonic TC-P50GT25 Power Indicator blinks 4 then 10 times
My Panasonic gt25 apparently has crapped out on me. It turned off on it's own and now it won't turn back on. The red power indicator blinks 4 times, and if I hold down the power button for 10 secs, it blinks 10 times. I really don't want to spend a lot of money to get it repaired, so I'd like to try to fix it myself. Anyone have any ideas what part I need to replace?

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi, I'm Aaron from Alton, IL. I've got a Panasonic 50" GT25 tv that just died on me today, that I'm hoping to get some help here with. I don't want to spend $500 getting it repaired so I'm hoping to do it myself. Otherwise I may as well just buy a new tv.
