How can I test these boards? Also why where there bad caps on the main board if it's the Y or Z boards?

Here are some pics of the boards the 1st 2 are the power(main) board...

My plasma tv (polaroid PLA5048) had a dark and hazy picture after hearing a loud pop. So far in trying to fix it, I have replaced 3 bad caps off of the main board (power board). I'm a little confused about the difference. Now I'm testing other components and when I test the SCK it reads .01. I'm not sure but I think this is for the thermistor, however when I look at them they all look good. Can anyone help me, I'm just trying to get my TV back.

Hi excuse me if I'm not following protocol, cause I'm not sure what it is. I have a 50" plasma tv from polaroid (PLA-5048) that is not working right. I heard a loud pop and the tv went out. I tried unplugging it and turning it back on, each time I would hear a hissing sound and then it would go off again; but still power to the indicator light. On the 3rd try the picture came on but it was very dark and hazy. I've been told (by internet search) that I need a new Y board and both buffer boards. This will run me $200 and there is no...
