Yeah, it finally worked! I broke open a 3 amps glass fuse, and soldered the little wire over the original fuse! Thank you very much, guys!...

yes, the backlight stopped working the moment i changed the display without disconnecting the backlight. I tried out 3 different displays, so it has to be the fuse. External monitor works well. Do you know what kind of fuse it is? maybe how much amps? Or is it possible to just short-circuit it?
