ok back at home i blew some heat like mentioned but still the same symptoms.I took the best shots i could with my iphone.If you need any more info i will try to provide it asap.I will tcheck dc voltage now and send the results later.Yhanks for your help!...

samsung ln-t4069f power issue
Just got that samsung TV for free and in the process to figure out what is going on.When the tv start,the screen slowly become white like clouds,then nothing happens.After 7 to 15 attempts the screen light up and the unit work fine.
I was aware of the capacitor issue so i replace 6 of them: 4X 10v 1000uf and 2X 25v 1000uf but it diden't solve the issue.
Any idea what to look for?I search for hours but could not pinpoint anything. -

Ok i got my hands on a resistor and i tried to jump the adj and onoff pin at
The connector to force the current but i dosen't open the screen.I get 24v everywhere
too.
For the hissing sound,the tranformer hiss as soon as i plug
the unit.I did recheck and find out that i was touching
the onoff and 12v pin,that stopped the sound,but as soon
as i remove the probe it gets noisy again.
I removed the connector that goes to the inverter board

I just want to be sure that i got it right.After cutting the onoff wire to disable it, i take a resistor 470-1000 ohm and jump the onoff and adj(5v)pin to see if the screen will light?
I dont have access to a resistor right now, i will get one and post the results.
I removed the onoff/adj connector from the main board to check if there is voltage on the pins at power on.When to red probe touch the onoff pin i could here the hissing sound(coming from the transformer) go down...Leave a comment:

I get no dc voltage reading on both standby and power on mode.
I diden't checked that area because there was no value on the board.I got

hello and thanks for your help!The transformer was indeed the T2,so i check the D8 and D17 and the reading was Infinite on one direction and about 600 in the other so i guess they are fine.For the picture,i'm sorry for the poor quality.I will borrow a good quality camera and send some pics asap.Leave a comment:

Update!
I took a closer look at the weldings(picture 6 top right)and there was a little overlaping of lead so i scraped it off with a small screwdriver.When i put the power back on the red stand by light was on
When i put the tv on the light turns blue,but nothing happens.There is a high pitch sound comming from the black transfo...at least the Tv is not dead anymore!! So if this part is not in cause maybe with the help of you guys we can save this board!
