I saw that same post on Dell site Like you say no response from person who posted fix.
There is small aux power board on main Powers supply but no symbol numbers or markings on caps that I can see.
I did esr caps but never took them out of circuit as heat ink and large coil is obstructing them.I will take them out just out of curiosity.
With no schematic just like working in dark.

Might want to check caps around micro,on main. mostly smd caps small voltage 6.3 or diodes for leakage Have found some leaky diodes on lg sets

Hi all
New to fourm.Hope I am doing this right.
I have dell lcd tv mod# w3207c.Stbye light amber on .Set will not start.
Set was hard to power up for awhile ,had to leave Ac cord out all night.
Have checked caps (ESR) them in power supply all caps and components seem fine .
Wonder if maybe something on motherboard(main)
suppling 3 volts to micro
I have no schematic for this model .Tried to get copy with no luck
This no start seems to be common problem with this set but no one seems to have come up with fix.Hope someone can help this... -

Wait long time to start have to pull power overnight. now will not start amber light on.
Suspect leaky diode or 3v reg feeding 3
volts to micro
cannot find schematic anywhere
looking for info please. Don the old guy
