thanks for the quick reply. I actually have minimal experience soldering but looked to take this task on my own by individually soldering the 14 wires to bridge the master 1 and master 2 boards. The pins are very close together and i couldn't even manage to solder a single wire (the connector is still attached to the board)

How come you only soldered two wires? Where did you put this line of solder? I tried using a volt meter to check voltage at each pin. Most came back as 0 volts, but two pins read...

can you show me a picture of how you 'bridged' these connections to make it work again? your inverters look totally fried around that area.
