Re: LG Plasma 60pk950-UA no picture or sound
Ok, its the lower buffer. With it unhooked the voltages are good and the top half of the screen has a faint white glow. Thanks a million for your help. Also is there a way to donate to the forum or to you for the great service provided?...

Re: LG Plasma 60pk950-UA no picture or sound
OK, something strange going on. I unplugged the white wire going between the buffers. Uhooked p104 and tested voltage and it was good. Hooked p104 and unhooked p105, tested and voltage was good. Hooked everything back up and voltage was good? Also I guess I need to know what voltage you want checked. Also what should I see for voltage on Vsc and -Vy?

Re: LG Plasma 60pk950-UA no picture or sound
I was doing some more research on here and I found a block diagram for the 60pk750 with the 60r1 panel. Since it has all the same boards and panel as mine except for the main board am I to assume the voltages will be the same? If so I took some measurements on the power supply. f801,f501, and f301 only read half of what they should according to the diagram.
VS=201.6
VA=59.6V
M5V=5.15V
17V=17.17V
STBY=5.15V
F801
stby 0v
run 174.7v
F501...

LG Plasma 60pk950-UA no picture or sound
I am looking for some help troubleshooting an LG 60pk950-UA plasma television. When I took the back cover off I also found this number PDP60R10000. TV powers up but no picture or sound. We didn't use the tv for almost a year and when I went to turn it on yesterday it powered on but no sound or picture. In the past it acted up a couple times(had sound and no picture or picture and no sound, cant remember which one it was) I assumed it was the LG wireless media box. If you power cycled the tv then it would work. Now I have no sound or picture. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have attached...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello, I am new to the site. I am an electrician but I deal mostly with motor controls. Joined to try to get some info on how to fix my tv. Did a lot of reading and seems like a great site but I need to ask some questions so here I go.
