(I think one of his links for the adapter sends you to the wrong one. You need the SOIC 208 mil to dip8 adapter for this).
correction:the adapter i have linked was for the programmer(to flash the bios chip) not for soldering on the MB ;

i still have more 4 new chips programmed, but i cant sell it on ebay ,
as i live in georgia , i did it at my intrest , because i have 2 such displays and one of them broke.
now both are in working condition.

Yes i did it!!! i have repeared my playstation 3d display!
so you need :
1.new chip MX25L6408E
2.programmer:EN25T80
3.SOP8 to DIP8 Adapter addapter
4.software ch341a
5.bin file:U4 25L6406E.bin
i flashed the new chip, then placed it om main board, insted of the old chip.
then powered on and it run my 3d display!!!! it works!!yes!! good work...
