yes i have had better luck with other stuff i did pull it apart it blew a wire on the flyback that i soldered so yeah not worth redoing it again i made sure it was done right but something made it spark and come off but its all good i have another crt tv my fiance gave me from storage a zenth so i will play nes and other stuff on it and that works ok for now for the basement cause upstairs we have flat screens this is just for the family room -

well replaced part not the issue something popped i think its one of the wires on the bottom of flyback but dad said screw it gonna get rid of it and say screw it dont wana mess with it anymoreLeave a comment:

yeah i cleaned it check everything and then i roll the ohms to the fuse no ohms messed with it for a bit then got a connection and then it turned on i even redid the fly back as well so i'm hoping that will work been 2 weeks and all of a sudden today turned on for 2 sec then no channel box and screen so yeah i'll do it tomorrow when i get up cause its to late to work on it now everyone sleepingLeave a comment:

tv did it again channel box went off no big pop this time tho just no low power again which is the 120 am fuse i think the connector is faulty cause i moved it around and got it to work and thats where the problem was when i was using the ohm meter so anyone know what those clips are called that hold the fuse i wana replace it for good so i can get the tv working again -

ok re soldered the flyback and found the low voltage fuse was the culprit the lines are now gone from letting it wake up it does need a bulb color adjustment bad as i can see the red and blue need to be adjusted the place where i brought it said o its no good and it cant be fixed well i fixed it so i'm gonna call them tomorrow since i paid $75 for service i'm gonna make them adjust for me free of charge . i did what i could to adjust it but yeah nes with battletoads lol..

as described tv works now channel box and buttons work now to adjust the screen i have a line as u can see from the pics and my channels are working again and need to know how to tune it really happy i fixed it myself the flyback had pop a copper wire took apart soldered and put back together just need some help adjusting it this tv is also a sanyo lxi from 1987 same thing but yeah very happy i fixed the problem..heres the story behind it this tv sat 13 years till now and i just got it working so any help would be great.. its a surprise to show my dad that... -

well theres no power to it none and the other wire running to the bulb is working lights up just no picture and i got a voltage from the other wire to the bulb so yeah the only thing i remember is hearing a pop when the tv went out the sound and everything else turns on channel box doesnt kick on tho and i think its part of the issue as well i was told the flyback was dead an thats as far as i know i'm waiting on the info from sams publishing on the board so i can trace test the resistors to make sure nothing else is wrong i have tested and checked the 2...Leave a comment:
