Re: How much does the motherboard's PCB help dissipate heat?
Thanks guys. The reason I asked was that in another forum I'm having a disagreement (well, I'm trying to be logical, the other guy is IMO borderline insulting) regarding ATX versus micro ATX motherboards. Yes, mundane topic, but this guy's as bad as people who argue over AMD versus Intel, or ATI versus Nvidia. He maintains that the physically larger PCB of ATX keeps the CPU running cooler. Here's how it went:

How much does the motherboard's PCB help dissipate heat?
How much does the motherboard's PCB help dissipate heat? For instance, all else being equal would a CPU run cooler on an ATX board versus say a micro ATX board strictly from the size of the motherboard? If so, how much of a difference? How much does the motherboard's PCB help dissipate heat? Re: Power supply build quality pictorial
The last sexy unit in our photo shoot today is a discontinued unit from A+GPB. Indeed that company doesn't even exist anymore, being morphed or absorbed into Athena Power. Anyhoot, she's perhaps the sleekest and sexiest looking unit in the lineup with a nice tan to boot. However, I think her tan was artificial because it was easily scratched up when my "tool" slipped. Also, she didn't look too pretty after I was done with her. I left her all covered in my fingerprints, haha. Gosh, why do I feel like I need a bath now? Well, she...Last edited by Zap; 05-18-2006, 10:26 PM.

Re: Power supply build quality pictorial
I won't name any names like G-Y but I heard a little birdy say that there were some pervs in this here forum that likes to view pics of nekkid power supplies, so without further ado here are some pictures for your fwapping pleasure!
First picture shows the setup. We have 8 beautiful models for today's pictorial. I'm your photographer Zap D. Bone. The camera is a 5MP Kodak on a tripod because one hand may be busy at times. My lovely assistant Miss Postal Scale (and her MIA friend Mr Ruler) will help with some of the vital specs...
