Um, ya. I was (stupidly) putting in a PCI card when my computer was running. I must have shorted something because the PC reset and it sounded the alarm. When I was putting in the PCI card, I was doing it by sliding my hand in the side of the mobo. I couldnt see what I was doing, so I ended up shorting the circut. Yep. Pretty stupid. I turned over the case (which is a tower) and found that two of my JackCon 1500mF 6.3v -40+105C capacitors were blown. Now, I have a computer that boots EXTREMELY slow, an alarm sounds after about 5 seconds of boot, and it is dectecting all my hardware all over again....
