it's on top side of PCB, now from this point, we need huge resistor, more than 100K ohms and connect it between this point and ground, voltage will rise till about 15V then OVP kicks in.
Some time ago, I have successfully modified output from 12V to 13.8V

With help of members,it was really easy to do.
This supply is a little bit different, there are four photocouplers just like APS-231, but I did not find three pin regulator which is connected to "12v reg" photocoupler like in APS-231 model before.
My sister was listening music on my home theatre, after some time I saw that poorly insulated wires on subwoofer output had shorted and from then subwoofer output is distorted after I turn volume to about 15 and more (70 is max so it's 15 is really quiet). First thing to do is check and replace output transistor, right??...
Isn't there a way to disable it completely as SG6105 is TL494+ two 431 in one chip.
I have already removed 3.3v and other components and I don't want to solder it back
TL494 is very simple, just unsolder a few pins(13, 14 and 15 i think) from board and protection is disabled..
Problem fixed, I have removed that glue or whatever it is from capacitor and re-soldered it and sound magically disappeared, it's still there but very quiet now, you can still hear it if you stick you head in PSU Anyway, thanks for your help
There is like quiet hissing sound coming from PSU, it is 3 and half years old, capacitors looks like new, sound is coming from highlighted area on this photo
It's very annoying
It's not like high pitched noise, it's something different....
Technicians are s***bags here in Croatia, they will charge you like 100 bucks for one RAM module replacement, and they will say that motherboard was faulty and they replaced with new one, right, but almost everyone believe that... that's why I'm here asking for help and opinions, hopefully one day I will help others.
Maybe mainboard isn't the problem, technician is....
What about this, owner says that there is only backlight when TV is connected to power outlet(not turned on!), remote controller doesn't do anything, he was in service and been told that mainboard needs replacemet (some chip on motherboard)
