Sparks please could you explain to me like I'm a 5 year old what you are describing I have next to zero experience/knowledge in electronics but am really wanting to learn. I did download the service manual from [url]http://elektrotanya.com/[/url], not that it made much sense to me, but from what I can gather, and please correct me if I'm wrong, IC401 is an integrated circuit board or PCB? The tube base panel is the PCB that attaches to the end of the tube? Deflection yoke connectors...

Hi guys, hoping you can diagnose the problem I'm having with my monitor. It's a Iiyama Vision Master Pro 454 aka HM903DT I've had from 2003/4. Awesome monitor and picture quality to this day even with it's current problem. So, the problem is this, yesterday whilst playing Batman at 1600x1200 @100hz the screen suddenly squeezed in on itself horizontally leaving 2 huge black bars either side of the image, see pic 1. I closed the game and went back into windows where the native resolution is 1280x1024 @100hz and noticed the screen was now slightly oversized whilst also being stretched in the middle...
