  • Re: Panasonic TC-P50V20B Scrolling Lines

    60Hz.
I was running some tests here, and I noticed that what is causing the flickering is not the refresh rate.
It only happens when Normal or Dinamic mode is set. If I select any other mode and set the contrast, bright, color to 100 the image looks fine, no flickering.

    Thanks for the reply.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the colors get unstable sometimes, flickering at bright areas, it gets more evident when the TV is displaying content with high contrast settings. I dont know if it is related to the lines problem or not, but maybe it helps to identify what component is failing. Any hints would be much appreciated.

Anyway, I'll check the A-board and see if I can find any damaged components.

    Thanks once again.

  • Panasonic TC-P50V20B Scrolling Lines

Hello, I have this panasonic for almost 3 years now. Every year a different problem comes up. First was the SC/Ysus board, it was replaced after 1 month of use. Then a problem with sound. Now this damn lines appeared all of a sudden. The lines are always there, in the whole screen, scrolling from top to bottom, in all inputs and menus. I already checked all connections and ribbons, but no success.

I suspect the A(main) board is the guilty here, but I am not sure.
So guys, what do you think? Can it be fixed or I will need a new board?

    Thanks.
