Hey all, yesterday my Samsung TV I bought in fall of 2009 quit working - hit the "ON" button and sound would come on, picture would come up, then picture would go out, then come back on, then go back out, then come on again for the third time, then no picture after that - sound from channel would be playing through the whole process.

After searching the internet I found out that Samsung had a problem with their capacitors bulging and maybe leaking, and changing them out would fix this. I also believe that the inverter/power board is the problem, but I'm not 100% sure of...

Hey all.. newbie from Bush AK. Being from a rural area have to learn how to fix a lot of stuff, mainly mechanical stuff. Good thing I have the internet for all other fix-it solutions.

Married with kids (one is college), we're just finally getting our winter here (cooler weather and dusting of snow). I'm really, really ready for winter after a prolonged, wet fall.
