I am fixing a 40" TV, I'd rather have more than not enough.

I haven't taken it apart yet, it is at my parents house and I'm going to pick it up in May.

Hi all,

I have read that this could be multiple problems. I came home from university and saw my TV like this.

I've heard it may be the panel, but from what I've read and hope is that is the TCON Board. I've done a bunch of searches, but I just want to make sure before I dump any more money into it.

What I've tried so far
1. On and Off
2. Updating the Firmware (Which was a pain when I couldn't see half the screen)

I once let it sit for awhile just to see if it would fix it self, and then colours spread across the screen....

Hey all

My Samsung LNT4061FX/XAC has vertical lines, I am currently at school but I am hoping to get the parts needed to fix before i go home for christmas... Hopefully its not the panel.
