Alesis M1 Active Mk2 120v to 240v power supply conversion possible?
Hi all,
I saw in the forums a fix for the common Alesis Mk2 power supply capacitor issue, and I was hoping I might be able to get some help on a different power supply issue.
I was recently given a pair of Alesis M1 Mk2's. Only problem is the written input on the back panel is 120v and we run 240v here. I've got a transformer but I don't want to use it, especially since it doesnt have a ground input.
Looking at the power supply, I noticed that there is a jumper (J4) next to the power switch jumper that reads "120/240".

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi,
i've visited this site a number of times for its very useful info, but now i find myself in need of more. I can just about wield a soldering gun without hurting myself and others, although that hasn't stopped me from attempting to cobble together various hardware projects along the way.
