ISL88731C does not function when VDDSMB is below its specified Under Voltage Lockout (UVLO) voltage. All of the SMBus registers in ISL88731C are powered by VDDSMB and are set to zero when it is below the UVLO threshold.
Other functions are unpredictable when VDDSMB is below the UVLO threshold....Leave a comment:

Normally, 19.5 V goes through PQ100 because of the body diode (even if it's turned off). Then the resistors PR101 and PR105 (a resistor divider) cause the voltage at the gates of PQ100/PQ101 to be 8.36 V (with PQ114 turns on). That turns them both on (PQ100 & PQ101).
Better to do as much measuring as possible. Measure all pins on PU100....Leave a comment:

Hi Techman1025. Did you mean by using USB mouse and USB keyboard? No lights on USB mouse & USB keyboard. Fan keeps spinning all the times (with my BIOS dump). If I'm using your BIOS dump, fan spins for 2-3 seconds then it stopped. I've got 2.7V on CMOS battery. Screen broken? Or BIOS ME problems?Leave a comment:

I checked again this motherboard and it was only one chip. The BIOS dump didn't work for this model. When I press the power button, the fan keeps spinning for 2-3 seconds then it stopped. There is no short circuit and no overheating on this motherboard. All voltages are present. What else should I check?Leave a comment:
