I get only white lines like ive said and green bots when its on save energy mode or not connected to pc.

those green dots are observed only when the monitor is in save energy mode or when not connectec to a pc. It has to be a black screen so i can see them. Once i connect the pc to it those dots are gone but the monitor goes like... one vertical line is coloured and one white. A line mean a vertical row of pixels from top un to bottom down. One line coloured and one white. The rest is ok. Resolution ok and all the buttons work.Leave a comment:

the resolution is corect. All starts ok. Only those dots. I have placed my fingers on that lcd plug. Could it be cause of that?Leave a comment:

it worked ok this morning except that blinking start button witch is solved now. I have noticed something now. When the screen is on black colour i can see alot of little green dots all over.Leave a comment:

i have turn it on. Works but... I see vertical white lines. Its like this... One line in coloured and one is white. And it goes all over the monitor. Could it be cause i have changed only that bad cap?Leave a comment:

from all 8 caps that i have only 1 is the same. For example. I have 1mF/450 and he gaved me 1mF/400. i have 470mF/25 he gave me 470/35. I have 22mF/50 he gave me 22/63. Is it something wrong with me that i think i should replace only with the same value or it is ok if i replace them with what he gave? Pls heeelpLeave a comment:

Well a have a bolged cap. And its the only one that its bolged. The rest look ok. So the cap is an elite 1000mf/16v. Should i replace this one only or all of them?Leave a comment:

My monitor (lg flatron w1924s) is acting odd. When i press the on button he does not turn blue (the button doesnt turn blue) instead it starts blinking on and off for 15 minutes and after that the monitor works fine. Whats wrong with it? Pls just help understand the problem so i can know if i can repair it or just buy a new one ( witch is expensive for me now). Thx and i hope not to disturb you much. Sorry for writting errors... -

Forgot to say something about myself. I am a chap from Romania than is interested in learning how to diagnose and repair my monitor or any other electronics in the house. I have very little kbowledge about it even if my grandfather and father had inventor brevets on telecomunications. Thx and hope i will repair my monitor instead of buying other.Leave a comment:

Hello guys. I have a lg w1924s monitor and when i press the on button instead of turnin blue its just blinking for around 15 minutes and then it works ok. Only at start it does this. So what might the problem be? Some ppl said its in fault mode. But it works. Told you guys it does blinking only ( the start button blinks i mean).Leave a comment:
