Okay so I went over the boards and the only thing I found was a missing diode on the z sus board. D4012. Now I'm not sure if there is supposed to be one there but by the looks of the solder it looks like there was one there before....

Hi I recently picked up a vizio vp50 with samsung boards. I have no video and no sound when the tv turns on. It does stay on. I checked the voltages with a DMM and they were all reasonable. I inspected for bulging caps and found none. anyone have any idea what I'm up against? -

Alright so I recently picked up this tv and found out it broken. I have no sound an no video. I have already tested all my voltage test points and have inspected for bad caps. I'm not sure what else could be wrong. Any ideas?Leave a comment:
