kbc = keyboard controller a.k.a SIO = SUPER INPUT OUTPUT
its that square shaped IC with almost 100+ pins on the board.
i would try to check for RSMRST signal which is at the one of the pins on the kbc...if no rsmrst or it doesn't go from 3.3v to 0v when you press power button than kbc or bios issue which this definitely mimics the symptoms ofLeave a comment:

I would first check the dc jack see if you get voltage coming out of there. Look for power QFNS...and see if you get 3.3v or 5v on board if so move on to SIO and bios...

vizio E470VL HDMI OUTPUT NOT WORKING
I HAVE A VIZIO E470VL everything seems to be working fine but no HDMI OUTPUT from all ...except from one hdmi port but i get no sound the other hdmi outputs no video or sound
I will be uploading pics tomorrow for you guys to see. NO obvious signs of burnt components on mainboard. none on PSU either.
I am leaning towards the HDMI IC might be faulty...but just needed to know for sure

ir pro sc stock as i have heard on numerous threads is as much of an bad option as the achi ir 6000 series is....only difference is the sc has a bigger preheating area.....but they all have cheap Chinese parts and unreliable heating elements.

I have owned an achi 6000 and its horrible. uneven heating is what kills me the most so I have been thinking of upgrading.
I have a bit of money and was wondering what rework machines do you guys recommend I mostly do laptop motherboards so I dont really need ir pro sc size..something reliable and not so chinease...as chinease quality is the worst ever. I know everything is made in china now a days but I have been doing some research lately and came across this

Temperature controlled Led build
Being familiar with the cathode tube and leds that feature the music reactive feature i was wondering if this can be similarly achieved with temperature. For example if i had 3 or 4 strips of leds red, orange, yellow, blue.
At start orange would be on, when temperature reaches say 120c red would come on as well, 150 yellow and 200c blue.
I assume a thermocouple would be needed to gauge temperature but beyond that i am unsure as to how to acheive this. -

only board i forgot to take a pic of is the control board which is under the logic board…would faulty control board cause no display? …tv powers on makes powering on chime..but displays no picture screen stays blankLeave a comment:

there seems to be a crystal on logic board that has a dent in it…in laptops a faulty crystal causes no display..not sure if this the case with PLASMA tv….i read somewhere to check Y OR Z BOARD for no display issues after powerboard has been cleared..powerboard seems to check out…dont know how to go about troubleshooting the rest of the boards..any help would be greatly appreciated.Leave a comment:

Hello guys I am pretty new to repair TV..i have background in computer repair well i got This samsung plasma turns on blank screen...it makes the startup sound but no display...I have checked power supply board seems to be outputting all voltages to all boards and no visible blown caps...how can i confirm Y or Z board is issue...i dont hear any sound but the start up tv sound -
