Hey, I just wanted to thank everyone who posted in this thread and also budm for his original guide. I was able to do this repair in about 4-5 hours total. I would describe myself as someone who is always willing to tackle a project but often gets in over my head. Anyway, I thought I would post about my experiences in case there were people like me in the future who come across this thread and want to tackle this fix, and wanted a little hint of what they should expect.
