from ur description of flexing board, sounds as if u may have a bad solder joint causing ur problems.chk solder joints and reflow all that look suspect. pay particular attention to transformer joints.cheersLeave a comment:

'04 CRT trouble
i would suspect the infrared detector circuit in the tv. try disabling it c if it stops turning on off. cheers and good luck friend -
Re: Please give some suggestions, I'm having a heck of time removing some caps
as well if u use a 100w iron this would prolly b too hot for copper traces and /or solder pads(it will lift them from mobo) rendering the repair much more difficult if not impossible. really 60 watt is a little overkill lol. as will points out a touch of fresh solder on those joints would go a long way toward removing those caps cheers and good luck friend.Leave a comment:

same here as pcbonez.any i have repaired required replacement of bad caps only.the last one would come on and go black after 15 secs or so.it turned out to b 4 bad caps. transistors were ok.Leave a comment:
