I do have a digital multi meter. its the time required to open the tv that I need to find, but if you can tell me what I need to check I would appreciate it.

i have a vizio jv50p plasma tv, it has been working fine with no issues. about 3 weeks ago i turned the tv on and all seemed fine, but within about 3 minutes the screen went black. the tv still had audio, and i could change the channel with remote. i could not see the channel change but with audio i could tell the channel changed. i turned the tv off and on and it was ok again since then it happens more often than not. when i turn the tv on and all is well the vizio icon turns from amber to white and there is a clicking sound. now when i turn the tv on and the screen goes black when i turn the...
