Re: VPCSB no audio
Hello. Thanks for responding.
The problem is not in the jack, since I have another whole keyboard, including the sound card, speakers and jack.
The problem is the motherboard, but not how to look at it, if I might say in the schemes corresponding page the audio circuit and revised it, or that's what sends the signal to the audio chip.

Re: VPCSB no audio
The audio ic is in another plate, and I have two. The same problem are in both plates.
Maybe the problem are in the HM65, who control IHDA. I made a reflow and nothing happened.
Do you think if I replace this chip could fix it? I have another same.
Or check the IHDA circuit before?
Thanks.

Re: VPCSB no audio
Hello.
I have already installed the original drivers, downloaded from the official website of sony.
The fault seems more of hardware than software, wondering because I've seen more people that happened, but I have not seen the solution.

VPCSB no audio
Hi¡
I have a sony Vpcsb1z9e and it works good but I don´t have audio by speakers or headphones, but HDMI yes.
I wanted to know if anyone has happened and how to fix it.
I check the cables and fills good, and I have another plate where is the chip audio and nothing, maybe the error is in the mainboard.
Thanks for your help, excuse my english.

Re: Sony VPCSB (MBX-237) dead after bios flash
Hello.
I let this plate stop and now I've started again.
I changed the mec1609, sir460 and a capacitor, they were wrong.
I have already tensions VALW +3, +5 VALW, + EVCC, pwrsw # _db, pwrsw, system_vref3.
In the power button I have 5v in mind 3v, is this normal?
The plate still does not start, it does nothing, it could be that I have the wrong bios or will be another failure?
Thanks, I hope not to be heavy.

Re: Sony VPCSB (MBX-237) dead after bios flash
Hello.
Thanks for the help.
I can not have the 3.3v or 5v. Only I have 19v on pin 4 and 6 of sn0608098, which surprises me that the measure in dcbatout irfh3707 or in sir460dp is 0v, or the terminals that connect to docking db 0v too. This means that I have a short dcbatout or this later. I already change the capacitor from here that was in short.
Excuse me for my english.
Thank you very much.
