Streamax X5-E0804 CCTV recorder dead
Hi, we have a number of Streamax X5-E0804 vehicle CCTV recorders that are dead - they all have a power supply PCB with 5 10F 2.7v super capacitors which have leaked and buckled, but replacing them doesn't fix the fault. Digging deeper it seems that there short circuit somewhere, but so far I have been unable to locate the faulty component. its a long shot but has anyone come across these DVR's or better still have a schematic?

Re: NR90GC Nail Gun controller board repair
looks like quite a bit of corrosion as well as the damaged chip capacitor, i would give it a thorough clean and try then , you might be lucky

Reebok treadmill PSU SW01-CA-REV1.0 blown
Hi, I have a Reebok treadmill PSU SW01-CA-REV1.0 (KSW13) that's blown, I can identify most parts but have diode D7 and chip capacitor C8 that have burnt out and are unidentifiable - does anyone have a schematic or a PCB they can identify the parts from?...

Re: HP lp3065 repair How to disassemble
After removing the 4 corner screws and the 4 large mounting screws in the middle you have to unclip the front of the bezzel from the main part of the case which is held with the type of plastic clips that you find on your TV remote etc. To do this start (on the bottom is best as it wont show any marks if you make any) with a small flat blade screw driver and push it in between the front bezzel and the back and once you have made gap use a larger tool to prise it open (I found a smooth table knife worked well). Continue to work your way around...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi all my names Mark & and I have been an electronics/radio communications engineer since 1981 (so I have seen a few changes over the years) I stumbled across this site while looking for some information on an HP monitor and could see that some of the post's were quite detailed and obviously from knowledgeable people (which makes a nice change).
Nice to be on board.
