Samsung A7 10.4 lines on screen and triple image
Hopeing someone can point me in the right direction to fix this. Tablet doesnt show any signs of drop damage, but probably was. Ive tried reseating the lcd ribbon cable but no change. Thanks... -

What temp would you recommend for hot air? And thats pretty close to the ribbon cable....will that come loose if it gets hot? Also i checked all of them for short using the area in my pic marked red for ground. Is this not good enough to test? Or do i have to remove them and check there value? This model does not have a tcon board. When only one ribbon is connected i get solid backlight and sound but no picture. This works with either ribbon. If only one is connected i get solid light and sound......i found a main board on ebay for 30 bucks so i will try that. But i would like to find the fault. Any ideas?Leave a comment:

Hey guys, ive got a samsung un43ru7100f that when turned on, only the backlights flash every few seconds. The guy i got the tv from said he took it to a tv repair place and said it needed a new lcd panel. What are your thoughts?Last edited by a460guy; 07-31-2021, 02:44 PM. -

ok so after replacing the backlights on this E65-E3 vizio, the tv would turn on but there was no voltage going to the led strips. after pulling off every cap, mosfet, and diode on the powerboard i could not find the fault. im sure i missed something as i have not been classically schooled in electronic diagnosis. i ordered a powerboard from a e70-e3 (because they were going for 1/4 the price of the 65). once installed the backlights would shut off every so often (due to them being over juiced from the higher output powerboard. meter is a Fluke 87v

ok i swapped t301 and the resistors around u301....now voltage to leds is 49.3

I ordered a used power supply from an e70-e3. The only difference i could tell is an extra cap and the jumper where it tells the model. I moved the jumper and desoldered one cap. It works for about five minutes then the leds turn off for about ten seconds and then come back on for a few more minutes before repeating this cycle. Any thoughts on why it would be doing this?Leave a comment:

Thank you for the part help. well i put the hdmi port back on and replaced the mosfet. Tv came on for a few seconds and then the mosfet burned up again.
do you think the hdmi port damage is the cause or something else?Leave a comment:

Removed the 4 led power wires and turned on. still same result.. then i checked them for short to chassis and no short. but i started poking around and found this guy shorted to ground on pin #3...none of the other 4 on the board are....did i find something?! or is this normal....Last edited by a460guy; 04-22-2021, 07:03 AM.Leave a comment:
