Re: Olevia 242FHD-T11 --- no apparent power
Here are some of the better pictures I took.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. I will be checking DigiKey for replacement caps unless anyone has any suggestions for other sources. Thanks!

Olevia 242FHD-T11 --- no apparent power
Hello everyone,
I am having a power issue with my Olevia 242FHD-T11 TV:
There is no blue stand-by light on when plugged in. No response when attempting to power on. No red LEDs illuminated on the main board, either. Nothing else was wrong with the TV until it decided to keel over.

Re: Olevia 242TFHD-T11 42" TV Start Up Problem
I have the same model TV and am experiencing a similar problem. Glad I saw this thread: THANK YOU tom66 for the advice on cap ordering as I was *just about* to place an order for that Amazon kit. I will start a new thread this afternoon so I can post pictures of the power board. I would like to confirm my suspicions that my only problem is bad caps.
See y'all soon!

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello everyone,
While web crawling to find some info to repair my LCD TV, I kept getting linked to this site. After spending a few hours reading through the threads I figured I should join as I'm sure I will be coming back time and again.
I am a bit of an electronics hobbyist and am currently earning an EE degree. Kudos to all the helpful people here willing to help those of us just getting started. Thanks!
