Re: LG 50PA4500 Clicking troubleshooting HELP please...
It's entirely possible that the cap is still bad. It does not need to be bulging or discolored to be bad. The one I had to replace didn't look bad at all really. These aren't standard caps where the tops split and discolor. have you disconnected the board in order to rule out a shorted X-Sus and Y-Sus board ? If you have done that and the results are the same then i would replace the cap at C802. If your unable to find one I have quite a few. I can give you one. Simply cover the shipping cost which would be $2-$3 via 1st class...

Screw holes on the metal framing as well as the back of the panel and the ground spots on the board where it screws in all 3 spots voltages are the same. I have a wire I can use for jumping to bypass the mainboard just shoot me a line telling me where to touch the ends to. Thanks again for your help it's extremely appreciated.

Ok it couldn't have been more obvious if it bit me in the leg. VSTP and VATP
when I test with my multimeter it says only 6v on VSTP and 0 on VATP using my cheap Cen-Tech multimeter set to DCV/20 setting. this is the meter here .

Re: LG 50PA4500 Clicking troubleshooting HELP please...
I tried a new mainboard and it didn't solve the issue. should I be testing VA/VS with the TV off but power connected or when it tries to turn on for the split second ? also I'm not seeing points labeled va or vs on the power supply. can I test from the pins going from PSu to Xsus ? this is the same PSU here

Re: LG 50PA4500 Clicking troubleshooting HELP please...
When I disconnected Xsus it would only click one time. reconnect Xsus and disconnect Y-sus and it would only click one time. reconnect all of them and it only clicked one time as well. but if I unplug it for a while it will go back to multiple clicks. I only disconnected the cables going from PSU to the board no others.

Re: LG 50PA4500 Clicking troubleshooting HELP please...
When I plug the set in it clicks repeatedly not just a few times. it's as if it's trying to start over and over again . each time it tries a little red light comes on for a half a second on the mainboard.
The ribbons all appear to be good to me from what I can see ....

Re: LG 50PA4500 Clicking troubleshooting HELP please...
I've checked all ribbon cables and they seem to be good as I didn't see any obvious issues but I'm unaware of the ribbon issues with the models mentioned and can't seem to find info on it so not certain where and what exactly to look for there. here are the pictures of the setup....

Re: Problem with Samsung ps43d490 PDP
Well I am suffering the same fate as other's on here, when I plug it in it get's a flash of pink stripes or fuzz at any given spot for just a second then nothing on screen. Logic board lights 5-2 clearly I would see the pink striping vs just a screen flash as a indicator something is wrong, What board is going to be most liely to cause the pinkish striping/fuzz for the 1 sec the screen flickers vs just a gray or white screen flash ? would that be ysus or xsus or a buffer that's most likely to cause that issue of no picture short of the pink...

Re: Vizio 32" LCD Yellow Ting to screen but menu colors proper
Hey Tom66 thanks for always being willing to help. (I didn't get an email when you replied so I didn't get back to you and haven;t felt well lately so hadn't even tried at following up on this TV I just set it off to the side.
Yes I had checked the user menu and color settings. This morning I found instructions on entering the service menu for it and in the service menu all were set to 128 except for Blue which was set to 0 I set it to 128 and exited the menu and the picture is now looking proper.
